Practice the Sensitive Soul Deep Rest Breath

10 min

In this class, Sahaj guides you step by step through the bedtime breathing practice introduced in the first lesson. You’ll settle into a comfortable seated position, use Lotus Mudra, and follow a structured breathing rhythm combining inhalation through pursed lips, a gentle breath suspension, and a four-part exhale through the nose. Throughout the practice, you’ll silently work with the mantra Sa Ta Na Ma, followed by Wahe Guru, while keeping the gaze softly focused. Sahaj recommends beginning gently with just three minutes before bed, then gradually building to five or eventually eleven minutes as the practice becomes more familiar. The intention is to help you settle into a softer, more spacious state before sleep and create the conditions for deeper rest.
